Yes that's what the cheap tuning boxes on ebay do (ie, £5 ones). These ones are proper piggy-back ECUs in their own right aren't they?

Our 110 has a Bromley's Tunit box (These guys have had their products tested by a number of publications - check the net for reviews, so are definately more than a resistor in a box). I had the same in my Octavia and have never had any problems. These are at the higher end of the market price wise i.e between £3-400, but I landed lucky with the last one as I got it as a reconditioned unit direct from Bromleys for £150. Car goes like a wee bomb, and when I sell it I'll sell the unit seperately for some extra beer tokens!
Just remember you get what you pay for and you'll be reet.

i will speak with bromlys and se if they have ant refurbed units sitting about, dont really want to fork out £300+

car getting fitted with eibach pro lowering springs this weekend so should lower it a tad.

nope its the right pics

yeah i am looking in to it already as i want it lower! The handling is improved so thats one good thing!

but need to sell my audi before i can spend more money on the golf.
