I saw your Mini parked up at the chipper at Uni today. I have to say, the wheels are growing on me a bit, still unsure about the colour though. One thing is for sure, you're a brave man running wheels with a polished lip in this weather!

They are cleaned daily. Really don't want to be but sold the steelies. And no money to put new tyres on my 16s. Also should finally get the dam centre caps on tomorrow

What do you drive?

I drive a silver Mk4 Golf, I sometimes park it at the chipper when I drive to Uni. You may have seen it, at the moment its sitting unacceptably high and has its winter RS6 reps on.

Ah, I bet you £10 if you put the OE airbox back on, the huge dip in your torque curve would dissapear, and you should notice a huge difference in acceleration ;) Power curve is nice and smooth.

Is that whats causing it? I didn't notice any difference in acceleration when I changed the airboxs over. Though might just do that and see if I feel any difference

If its not causing it, its definitely contributing to it. Its fairly common for the majority of induction kits to cause a drop in torque circa 3000 - 4000 rpm. I'd say its worth trying your old airbox back on just to see what like.
